I have the 1993 del sol S version with the stock engine. It has 275,000Km`s on it still runs fine, has a great body kit, but I would like an engine with a little more zing and power IE more HP. My research so far shows that the b18c1, b16a and d16 would all fit in nicely without too much stress.































All things considering, necessary additional parts etc---how much would the b18 change be compared to the other ones. It sounds like the better engine.

In my opinion stay away from those B-series engines....they were good and all, but like 5 years ago. Now you need to do the K-series swap. You get more standard horsepower and torque for roughly the same price. There should be LOTS of aftermarket kits to make your swap go smoothly. Check into some Honda forums....i'm pretty sure you'll find everything you need to know in those. Good luck.
