Widest tires for an EK Coupe

Whats the widest tires for 16" or 17" rims can I fit on my EK Civic. Someone told me 205-xx-xx, but I think thats bull.

It depends on rim width.
17's x7 can rub during bumps i beleive, but are still doable. Also u have to consider ride height vs. performance vs. looks.....its all variable. The biggest i would go is 16, but i am not sure how wide of a rim you could do without rubbing issues.

Most people use 205 tires for EK. I have seen only 1 guy put 215 tires on, he said he did not have rubbing problem because he has the right offset on the rims.
