stock.. yeh! the rally will be all wheel drive, plus the block is bigger, the rally "unmodified" is already a responsive engaging ride, the 1.7 VTEC "unmodified" is responsive but not quite the same... if you modify the homda however and pop in the 2.2l VTEC and chuck on a fair turbo and really modify the suspension you'll have a car that can compete with the lancer ... oh snap i have the worng lancer in mind, here are the specs for the lancer
1,999 cc 2 liters in-line 4 front engine with 81.5 mm bore, 95.8 mm stroke, 9.5 compression ratio.
Power: 89 kW , 120 HP SAE @ 5,500 rpm; 130 ft lb , 176 Nm @ 4,250 rpm
- Two disc brakes including two ventilated discs
- Spacesaver steel rim internal spare wheel
- Strut front suspension independent with stabilizer bar and coil springs , multi-link rear suspension independent with stabilizer bar and coil springs
In that case i'd say get the HONDA!!!
