Wiring for V-Tec (Help!)

Alright, this weekend I'm dropping in a D15b (JDM 1.5L SOHC VTEC) into my '93 Civic DX Hatch. I have purchased the p28 ecu to run it. I am wondering what extra steps I need to take to get V-Tec running properly on the new engine. I have been told by some that I need to "run a few extra wires" and then others have said I need a whole new wiring harness. The harness I currently have is the stock one from my car, not the one from the D15b. Hopefully someone can give me some accurate info, or a link to somewhere that contains some! Thanks
