Is it worth it...

I have a rs acura integra... its 1995 none vtec.. i think its like B18b or some thing like that..

I was wondering should i take parts off other cars and build the motor up with them.. or it u could even do it.. like take H22 cams and gears and put it in or even gsr parts or any vtec motor..

It would be cheaper to get parts then buy a vtec motor..

any tip's would be cool thanks

dood just save urself some loot and get a vtec dropped in, u cant mix vtec parts on a non vtec motor unless u do a "frank" but that costs some dollas. ur best bet if u wana have something nice is to drop an SIR B16 or GSR B18c1 both are around 3g's ins. and dood it wouldnt be cheaper to buy parts cuz when ur building that u gotta buy a whole load of parts to make another part work. and its gonna cost u alot of headaches when starts breaking and u gotta buy more ...i found out the hard way. just save up.
