I've seen similar post and hope not to do a repeat of something i missed. But i doubt it with this problem.















So i'm doing 55mph and downshifted into 4th gear. Bam... all the sudden the tach and temp gauge quits working and when i try to rev it up it just stutters. I can only go 10mph per gear (10 in first, 20 in second.... etc.) No one can pull codes because it reads "failure to connect" Not even honda can. I'm assuming this means i went into limp mode. the alternator belt did come off but i dunno if that makes a diff. Oh and the mpg have been cut in half, it's sucking gas like crazy, and smells like unused fuel.















It has the 4cyl 1.7 v-tech engine and obviously a 5-spd tranny. Any words of wisdom?
