2001 Honda Civic service?
I just purchased an 01 Civic with 94k on it. The car is in good condition and has all of the service records. It had its 90 k service at the dealer recently as well as new struts. Are there any other maintenance items that I should be aware of? I dont see as though the A/C system has ever been serviced. Should I have the dealer check the level of refrigerant or is that something that I can do with one of those do it yourself kits from Wal Mart?

Make sure the timing belt was changed, it it hasn't I think it's overdue and if it breaks you're in for a world of hurt as it will, at the very least, bend the valves. Also, blow out the bugs that may have plugged up the condenser/radiator up front. If it has a minor leak, it may be a long time before the refrigerant bleeds down to where the a/c stops cooling. Check out the wear on the brakes and see if the tires are good, better check to see if the spare is inflated and that you even have a jack and wrench. Good, simple car. Good luck
