2004 Honda Civic Engine Swap?

I have an 04 Honda Civic EX Coupe

I want to swap the motor in the spring

What do you think my best option is?

so far i looked at K20, B16 and B18 motors

Lets say money is not an issue here, what would u get

Also, I am looking for a best fit, i do not want to do alot of mods to get it in there

I would have to agree with the other guy. Use the K20 block and K24 head and swap in a 6 speed. That will give you the most horsepower in a semi stock form.

I would then run Hondata or an Autronic ECU and get it tuned by a professional.

If money weren't really an option, I would trade-in the Civic for an RSX Type S. They can be found for 10K-12K in good shape now.

Figure K20 motor is 2-3k with transmission. Another $500-1500 for installation and tuning. Figure an easy 5 thousand if you pay someone.

Just get an RSX and boost it.
