ding of the seatbelt reminder? Please answer only if you know the correct programming sequence...... I am not interested in Jimmy rigging my seatbelts nor unplugging or cutting electrical connections. Thanks!!2007 Honda Civic SI: Is there a procedure/sequence to disengage the annoying ding of the seat belt reminder?

There is a way that the factory can do it, but they also charge you an arm and a leg to do it. You'd have to chop a few wires.. all it is is a signal that goes from the seatbelt sensor to the beep thing, just disconnect the feed going to the speaker. The warning light would still be active but it woudlnt make the annoying beeping. (I did it on my focus with no problems)

Read your owners manual! I know on Fords there is one, I should think that Honda offers this as well....
