2007 Honda Civic - Unlocking trunks causes doors to lock?

2007 Honda Civic - Unlocking trunks causes doors to lock?
When I unlock the trunk on my 2007 Honda Civic, all four doors lock automatically after the trunk lid has been open for a second or so. Why does this happen?

its just a standard safety feature on a number of cars. It is for security reasons so no one can steal stuff from your car etc while you are in the trunk. My lexus hybrid does the same thing as does my bmw 7. Most of the cars ive owned have tis feature...hope this helps
