I have a 98 civic 5 speed, the car runs great but it has a whinning noise in 3rd gear. Some times it will have this noise in 1st and second but only when it's cold. I was thinking of swaping my 92 5 speed transmission to my newer car. I would think that everyting would swap over beging as it's basically the same block. Would this swap work or is there something easier to do to it before I go about swaping trannys?
