Best Motor For My Ek

alright ill make it alot easier than most people for you, my ek is a daily driver so im looking towards b-series, i want to keep PS but the AC can go! after the swap my intentions would be to turbo it, any suggestion, price wise im leanining towards a jdm b16a 2nd gen, however i might be able to get a gsr with high km's for pretty cheap, any one got any ideas?

i got a 00 usdm b16a2 for 2000$ frim comes with mounts linkage shafts and everything else......for 200$ i could make u a proper wiring harness...and as well i got a nice complete turbo set up with t3/t4 turbo (complete bolt on)....but yeah if u can get the gsr for cheap get that, but then again u'll need sir mounts si/sir wiring motor harness......

get the b16 stay away from gsr engines parts for that motor are specific.as for the b16 most b-series parts fit

plus he wants to get one with high km....
btw i never had a problem with my 00 gsr motor worked well for me over a year then i sold it....

nothing beats a itr motor man if u got money to spend i had two and they both ran low 13's in eg's...

I would suggest the b18 from an LS Integra. This is best if you're planning on turbo-ing it. You don't want to use an engine that has Vtec if you're going to use turbo. you want a low compression engine like the LS with larger displacement. Thats my opinion.

i agreed with him i spent alot of time on the track and i here alot of complain about vtec.
b18 is the way to go for turbos and don't forgget to sleeve the pistons if ur going to run high psi just a suggestion
