which is better honda civic si or the mazda speed3?

mazda b/cuz k20 a3's are dead dog slow...my boyfriend had one with a header full borla exhaust and an intake...my half dead 96 saturn sl2 (it smoked like a forrest fire) the saturn kept right up with the honda then he got an afc for it tuned it and let vtec hit earlier my saturn still satyed with it,he pulled a LITTLE when his vtec hit...honda=no *****
