Honda Accord= Family but can take speed on. More roomy and not so much a younger guy car. I call this the "bigger" civic.Honda Civic- More for the younger version but still a 4-door can be nicer small family car. This is what I call the smaller accord.Id chose the 2008 Honda Accord myself.

Civic all the way, it has plenty of room in the inside and the trunk and has a cool sound when you rev it and push the throttle down all the way.

If you're the environmentally concious type, definitely go with the civic, or if you're the inconsiderate wasteful type who doesn't care what we do to our planet so long as you can look good in the largest vehicle available, go buy a suburban and play chicken with a train.

I have a '97 Civic EX with 200,800 miles on it. For the first time a few months ago I put new CV joints in for $400.In the 5.5 years I've owned it, this is the only major repair I have ever done to it.Excellent car.The big plus is my 40/60 fold down rear seat. With my two 12" subs up against the back seat with the smaller seat down, my trunk becomes a 6th order bandpass enclosure and it sounds extremely good.
