I do not need to know what it is called either. That is why I take the part with me to the parts department and make sure I get the identical part. They would prefer it that way. When you get the bill, you will then know what it is called.

well, since the photos never show the connector side, I can only guess that it is the "multifunction switch". runs the turn signals/hazards/hi-low beams/headlights, etc.
