Fuel Pump 2 Way Valve
I have an '88 Honda CRX HF with a 2000 Integra GSR swap.
I have a fuel problem. When cold, the car will start up fine (as I have tuned it to specs, so it purrrrsss). I drive it around, and then turn it off. When WARM, it WILL NOT START!!! I turn the key, it will spark and the motor will run for about 2 seconds, then die. After turning the ignition key, on and off...for about 10 mins... I hear a "Fffffupp!", then the car will start, like nothing ever happened. And it will "puurrrrr"... #$@&*^!!!! I have replaced the Main Relay twice, the fuel filters twice. Today, when I dropped the tank, I noticed it had a Fuel Pump Two Way Valve on the front driver's side corner of the tank that comes from ??? AHA!!! I thought to myself! Could this be the PROBLEM?!!! Can I just bypass this? What the HECK does that two way valve do anyway? Are there any other valves in the fuel line I can check out? Please Advise. (Jokers need not respond...) Thank you, CRXception :retard::dunno: |
