Honda Civic 2.2 i-ctdi 55 reg 50k mile service, £315, why so much?
I have been quoted £315 for my 50k service for my 2006 honda civic 2.2 ctdi. I almost had a coronary when i heard the price. can some one tell me why it's so expensive. I used to own an Alfa Romeo, it was cheaper to get that serviced!!! Is this usual for Honda to charge such extortionate prices for servicing?

You don't have to follow the maintenance schedule to the letter. Tell the dealer you don't have that kind of money, ask them to break it down and remove the most expensive items. Ask a mechanic or Yahoo Answers if those more expensive items can lapse without causing any major problems.
