check engine light was on? i test drove a car and the srs and check engine light was on the dealer said that the people who changed the oil and cleaned the seats forgot to reset them what do you think i am worried the car has problems would you pay 8,000?

No way do not buy the car. If it is only 6 years old & has that many miles on it it's not worth $8,000, & you should definitely verify what the dealer tells you by taking the car to a mechanic & getting it checked out.

I would imagine that the problems are minor, those are very durable cars, but I would still have it knocked down to $4,000, because what the dealer said was a lie...
