Honda Civic Esi 94 main relay problem?

Honda Civic Esi 94 main relay problem?
My immobiliser switched the relay off and malfunctioned causing a no start.
I bypassed the relay so the car can run at least.
thinking it was the main relay at fault i replaced it with a new one but it still wont click.
Checked all fuses and connections their all fine and no warning lamps displayed. Any suggestions would be welcome.
