OK, so I am in the market for a new car, I currently drive a Prius and love it, I might get another, but wanted to see other options.So, the Civic GX (the natural gas model) I've been doing some reading, and have questions about the cost of fuel. Currenly CNG at a local filling station is $1.1457/CCF and gas is $3.19/gal, my Prius gets 47.7 MPG so currently it costs me $0.07 a mile. With the GX can't figure out what it would cost me per mile. It says that the GX gets an equivelent of 30-34 MPG, how does that translate into CCF??? I know about the range of about 150 miles per fill up, but what's the tanks capacity?And I found one available at a dealer, he said there was only 1 certified GX sales person, and he was out but the other guy said in order to buy the car I had to be certified, what does that mean? The only thing I can find is that you have to be certified to get a Phill in your home. Was he mistaken? I don't need a Phill, I have a CNG station across the street from work.The Civic GX has been in production since 1998 but has only recently become available to the general public, it was previously available only to fleet customers. So it's not exactly new technology.
