i have a del sol with a d15 vtec engine.the problem is the vtec isnt kicking in.i have swapped ecu and checked that the solenoid is engaging. im getting enough oil pressure to work but it just doesnt engage.any tips or sites that will help diagnose the problem? i dont want to take apart the engine unless i hav to and i know what to fix

how can a vtec not hav the vtec features? i dont get it. i hav a 1.5 and its single cam with vtec connections and the same engine is used in civics and i know for a fact that they vtec and its a noticable thrust wen it kicks in. can anyone elaborate
