A honda del sol not running because of a distributor?

ok so i recently totaled my '98 integra and am just looking for something really cheap to get me around. I've been looking for a del sol i found this kid selling one for only $600 and i want to get it. It's a '93 del sol with a D16Z6 engine swap in it. It recently stopped running and he was told it was a distributor problem. My brother is really good with cars so he could help me fix it. I looked up and distributors are only like $160. So I was wondering is the distributor something thats really complicated to fix? is it worth it?

it would be worth fixing plus u can flip the car and sell it for more or u can always do a b series swap but the d16z6 motors pull pretty hard
