HotWiring a Honda Civic Hybrid???? without the Chip!! is it possible??
I live in apartments and I want to iknow if it would be possible for a thief to turn on the car with out the chip..... you know how some cars can be turned on by Hotwiring...

Relax. Although it is of course possible it would require much more than breaking the steering column and twisting a couple of wires together. This would require replacing many parts in the car.
Also, may I commend you on your choice of car, and your choice to live in an apartment. Both help the earth.

they cannot hotwire a hybrid civic as it is much eaiser for them to tow your vehicle. bottom line if someone wants your car they will get it if they really want it. you should invest in a stearing wheel lock and some other devices to protect your investment
