how do i open the trunk to my '06 honda accord with a valet key?

The valet key is not meant to open the trunk as a security measure. If you leave the valet key with an attendant, they can unlock the door and start the car, but they cannot unlock the trunk. This is by design. A locksmith could make a trunk key, which would in turn operate all of the locks.
