i think i know your problem.. im only guessing since you didnt give any engine specs. if it is single over head cam they are located on the side of your head. (well..ummn the cars head)

if it is double overhead cam then they go rite down thru the top of your engine. if it has a large plastic cover over the engine you will have to remove it, they are under it.

next you will see the wires with large dust boots directly on top of the motor evenly spaced, give them a good tug and they will come out. the holes are deep and if you look waay down there you will see the top of the spark plugs.

you will need a long extension ( 8 to 10 inches long) to reach them with a socket wrench and correct size spark plug socket.

hope this helps

are you the first owner? coz if you are, then all the tools you need are in the tool bag that came with the car. if you take a look inside the tool bag, it's leather btw, then you should see a long pipe about 6 to 8 inches in length with a hex-shaped tip, this is the correct tool to unscrew the plugs. you can use the tire wrench to turn the pipe, or you can use a vise. its just like replacing a wheel. but make sure you don't mix up the wires connected to the spark plugs and when you're tightening the plugs, try to imagine a horizontal line then when it gets pretty tight, give it one more twist but don't go beyond 30 degrees down the imaginary line so you don't over tighten the plugs and ruin the threads. when replacing your plugs try to do this one at a time. so you don't get confused with the wiring. hope this helps.

Peace
