I Have a 1998 Honda Civic DX sedan...???

I have a 1998 Honda Civic DX sedan and I took it to the mechanic and he said that the engine takes up too much oil too quickly. What is the problem? How much will it cost aproximately to fix? He didn't tell me.

Call him back up and ask him what the deal is. Maybe he did not tell you why because he simply doesn't know himself. It could be many different reasons ranging from bad rings to a leaky oil pan. Hope that it is because of a leaky oil pan lol. Ask him what the cause is so you can know what you are doing about it in the future. Too bad though because Honda is generally an awesome trouble free car to own.
