I have Honda 1994 civic coupe, The car doesnt have as much pick as other

hondas is it because of its age? When I stop at red light and start with other vehicles on green light my car dosent move fast and its drives others behind me crazzy. Is this poor strength because of its age? and if so how can it be rectified without selling it. Do you think the engine has become week or the transmission could be at fault? it has 160,000 miles on it. Gives a great Milage. 32 plus.
