I have a Honda Civic 1992 old girl slow to get going, especially up slopes and

hills, is there a problem ? Engine seems fine, no strange noises, is an auto, for an old car is a good runner being Japanese. Just seems abit slow on the off and wondered if there was anything I could do to fix it.

If it still has the catalytic converter on it might be plugged. This happened to my sisters geo metro which is also an automatic.

Check the transmission fluid level JoJo and top up if necessary. It could also be that the selector cable needs re-rigged so that the kickdown operates at the proper revs. It's simple enough job for anyone with a bit of mechanical know-how and won't cost a frotune.Nice little cars, the Civics.
