i want to know generally how many miles a 1999 Honda Civic will go B4 dying??
I have been told that the car has been taken care of very well and that it already has 170,000 miles on it how much longer do you think it will last.

It has ALOT of miles. Most cars never reach 200,000 miles. And the car being 1999- that is ALOT of miles in less then 10 years! I would not purchase a vehicle that had that many miles on it, whether it was taken care of well or not.

look after it and it will go for ever. they only stop when something goes wrong/breaks. look after it and it wont break. 
ment to say, my father had an escort with 325 000 on it, and it was still going strong.only sold to upgrade
