If you HAD to choose between 2 '03 Honda Civic's that where similar in...

...everyway except that................... One was inspected by 125 point CarMax inspection and the other was inspected under the 150 point Honda Certification inspection process.

honda, its their own car, they would know it much better. but if it was a lot more expensive, i'd go for the carmax, there isn't THAT much of a difference, but if everything was the same, including price, and they both did good on the test, i'd choose the one with the honda test.

I'd go for the Carmax one. Most of the inspections they do are simple anyways like hood-check, wheels-check, Trunk-check,seats-check etc.

Look at it this way if you buy from Carmax what type of warranty do you get?































If you get a Certified Pre-Owned Honda, only from a Honda dealer, you will get another 12 month/12,000 miles for the Non-Powertrain Equipment items. Then on the powertrain you will get seven years or 100,000 miles (whichever comes first) from the vehicle?s original in-service date.
