My Honda Civic Lost its spark, what should i look at?
I own a 1994 Honda civic coupe with the 1.6 v-tek engine. Just recently the engine lost its spark, the engine turns over, but there is no spark and it doesn't start. What could be the problem? I was thinking the ignition coil, but if it is not that, what else could be the problem?Im not very good with cars, but if the engine is turning over, just not starting, does that mean theres a pretty good chance i WON'T have to replace my engine? My friend was telling me that since it wont start its the engine, but i am under the impression it was a problem with the electrical current/starter.

Taker "her" to a shop and ask them to check both the starter and each of the spark-plugs. The problem could be in either or BOTH of those areas. Your car could've also seen its last days. Honda's are known for their ability to go on "forever" (I've owned 2 myself, and loved both of them) but it may just be time to get yourself a new vehicle.

you must check the distributor its working fine, first check 12v ignition with a multitester probably it white wire or black white strip this Honda's has the problem with the igniter-coil system but my recommendation its change all distributor
