Depends on what is broken. If it is a mechanical gauge, it could be the gauge itself, the cable, or the gear in the transmission. If it is a electronic gauge, it again could be the gauge, or the sensor, or anything electronic in between the two.Good luck!

First question, does the odometer still work or is it out too?If you have an electronic system (which most are these days) it is hard to tell. It could be less expensive to simply go to Wal-Mart and buy a cheep GPS and mounting bracket and put in on your windshield than to get it fixed.
