my new car?

ok i have decided to get a honda civic lx bettween 2006 and 2008 it is a weak car but with good mpg i think i want it a little more power to it want would happen if i put an exhust on it and an air intake in it want would the difference be from mpg to power

Putting an intake and exuast should not make a difference in MPG because it actually provides more air flow as long as you dont cut out the catalitic converter and put a straight pipe your mpg shouldnt change unless you drive hard .... and as far as power should boost you just a lil u will notice a slight difference.
