I think that must of the cars will follow current honda technology using basically water and electricity instead of gasoline, I think that it is much better to wait for 1 or 2 years test of new technologies to jump in after some bugs get corrected, but ... there is people who love to be the first instead...

You should really take the time and do some math and see if the purhcase price between a car that gets good high MPG and a hybrid. I worked for Toyota, and we figured that it takes about 10-13 years to get your money's worth in gas for the Toyota Prius, whereas you can get a Corolla or Yaris...etc etc. Same with any car manufacturer.

But there are benefits to hybrids, like the tax break you get as well as being able to use the carpool lane with only one passenger. But still, you should really look into doing the math and see if its worth it to you. If you don't plan on keeping it for more than 8-10 years, then its probably not worth it.

Good luck!

Civics are good car; it would be wise to get one. but the Hybrid really doesn't get that much better mileage than the regular Civic. It gets 10 more miles in the city and only 5 more highway miles.

i like the fact that honda can make powerful vehicles still fuel efficient. Heck, they even have the clarity that runs on a fuel cell which =no gas
