should a 1990 honda civic dx hatchback have power steering?

Only the Si model had power steering this year. I'm not quite sure if powersteering would be effected in a motor swap.
But for now I wouldn't try to install power steering, it's more of a hassle trying to install it into a car that never had it. Just try making the swap smooth and make sure everything runs. Good Luck!
