spoiler on fwd civics?
#2
it doesnt matter how fast ur going...the spoiler over the back of any FWD car does nothing but show. the reason u have a spoiler on the back of the car is to push the rear of the car down so the rear tires would have traction at higher speed. when going higher speeds, cars tend to lift up off the ground slightly. This is more dangerous in a RWD car b/c there is no weight over the rear. it doesnt really happen too much on a FWD car b/c the weight of the engine is over the front tires.....so to sum it up, it does nothing for ur civic but show. if u want, u can put a front lip on ur front bumper. that would somewhat help.

^^ Agreed. At normal speeds most spoilers on a front wheel drive car are useless, with the exception of those aluminum park bench looking things that will only hurt performance by placing more downward force on the rear wheels at higher speeds, so they are only for looks. That is unless you ask a high school ricer boy or anyone else that knows nothing about cars or aerodynamics and they will swear up and down that it helps them beat 1000hp Supras or muscle cars with their 110hp civics...
