i live in los angeles and have a honda civic and ive seen others with tinted windows that look cool. but one of my friends got a ticket for it. i want to do it, but im having second thoughts.

If ALL of the windows are tinted then it's illegal. The front ones need to be see-though.

just make sure that people can see inside your car. You only get a ticket if they are to dark. Alittle tint is ok. And the front windshield cant have tint

Oh my gosh. My mother got a ticket for tinted windows before, he said "we need to see if we can find criminals" or some crap. I dont understand, he drove by tuns of people with tinted windows. My advice, dont get tinted windows, just because it looks cool, please only get it if the sun is hurting your eyes etc.

there are different laws in different states check you state law you maybe able to put some tint on. The lower the number the darker the tint.

if you go to a shop they'll do it for you but then they're not gonna say its illegal..it would just cost you to put it on and to remove it..
