the civic ex is a good car with good reliability and good resale value. the acura is built on the same platform as the civic and has some of the same qualities. though, the acura is more refined and more aggressively styled version with a slightly more powerful engine. i think it comes down to your preference in looks and the actual used car's condition that you find out there. the acura has a nicer interior too. take your time drive both cars, do some research, and make an educated decision.
