Do yourself a favor and buy a mazda 3. Look in consumer reports, its rated higher than the civic. The 3 has more interior room, and horsepower than the civic. It also cost's less. Go to www.mazdausa.com and check them out. The resale on the Mazda 3 is VERY VERY GOOD! Check out consumer reports and edmunds.com

Honda, hands down. I'm on my fourth Honda, and will never buy another brand. Never been stranded, broken down, etc. Only reason I bought a new one was for a different model. Can't say enough good things about them. There are some pretty sleazy dealers, out there, though, just like any brand. Choose wisely!
