2001 civic, wires i see from alternator are main battery cable (big, thick, white cable), a black wire, a white/red wire, a white/green wire, and white/?blue? wire. (not sure about the last one). my *newly installed* alternator intermittently stops charging the battery for random periods of time, leading to dimming lights and gauges. battery light flickers on. (same reason i took the car to get fixed in the first place). but then operates normally. cant find any info on the wire harness attached to alternator, only that i can buy a new one. im at a stand still. has anyone else experienced this? on any car for that matter.
