would you buy a 1999 honda civic hx with the cvt automatic transmission?
i have heard some good and very bad things about this transmission --any first hand knowlwdge or heard anything/--the car i want has 76,000 miles---thanks

Yes because hondas are reliable cars just like toyotas. I have a 1997 Honda CR-V. I hasnt broke down one time. If you don't mind suscibing to a magazine with car ratings go to www.consumerreports.com
