Re: 03 accord deck prob
I'm intrested in adding a stereo to the CD bin too. I have questions:
1. Do still have room to close the bin cover, or did you have to remove it
altogether?
2. What did you have to disassemble in order to complete this, (shifter
console, other hidden brackets, etc.)?
3. Did you have a set of instructions to complete this work?
4. Does your stock stereo still work as normal after installing your new
deck?
5. What source of wires did you use to connect the red, yellow, orange, etc.
from the aftermarket stereo? Was an aftermarket wire harness helpful?
6. What problems did you encounter?
Thanks.

Remove it altogether. Here's the part number for the kit. Metra
99-7862 You can get it from here if you want, this is where I ordered
it from http://www.installer.com/kits/index.html

You can use this. I actually got the guys where I bought the system to
put it in for me. (along with a 240watt PPI amp powering 2 10" JL
Audio Subs in the trunk)

Well, it comes on, the clock works, but the Kit comes with a wiring
adapter that doesn't supply the old deck with speaker outs.

None, like I said, the guys put it in for me, but it only took them a
1/2 hour. My new deck is a JVC SH-707 MP3 player with 50x4watts + the
subs in the trunk. It rocks now!
