1988 Prelude rear speaker.
Not that it matters,I suspect,but it's an Auto 2.0i 4WS model.
I am looking for a ( preferably one) radio speaker for rear parcel
shelf.
It measures 12cm across and 12cm diagonally from fixing hole to hole.
I am in Devon UK. I can mail you pictures if necessary.

Re: 1988 Prelude rear speaker.
http://www.crutchfield.com lists the US Prelude as using 6 1/2" speakers
in the rear for 1988. If yours measure 12 cm, the UK model must be
different. That said, instead of getting a single replacement speaker (I
assume one is broken?) I would take the one you have to a car stereo
store and buy a cheap pair of replacements in the same size. Even a
cheap after-market pair is usually better than the original speakers. If
you measure 12 cm, the speakers are probably standard size 5 1/4",
usually referred to as 13 cm in Europe.

Re: 1988 Prelude rear speaker.
Go to your nearest car radio/stereo fitting shop to buy one. They can give
you better ideas than anyone here, including me...

Re: 1988 Prelude rear speaker.
Thanks Randolph ,
No these are definitely 12 cm (4 .5/8") I think your advice is the best
option .I will look for a cheap alterative pair locally.
