Okay, people, that's my wife up there that made the original post. We went
to pick up the 2001 Prelude today. We bought it from a guy who had to sell
his Acura NSX and the Prelude to make ends meet. It has 13,2000
(ridiculously low for that model year in my opinion), it has been garaged
all the time, and it cost us $16,100. Every thing on the car is immaculate.
The engine is ultra clean and has been using Mobil 1 for 6,000 miles
according to the guy. Everything is original. The only thing I worry about
is the battery, since batteries have a planned lifetime. Hopefully it will
start giving me indications that it needs replaced so that I can get an
Optima sealed battery for it. I drove it home 50 miles, and it drives
flawlessly.

I hope we didn't pay too much.

Simon

Re: 2001 prelude

with aem cold air intake, carsound high flow cat, tanabe cat-back exhaust,
and 5 speed tranny i got my 2000 'lude to 159MPH. with a 75 wet shot of
nitrous i'd estimate, based on the tach, 180 rather easily.

closed highway, of course. street racing/speeding is stupid.... don't do
it....
