2002 Accord with antenna probs after system install!!!!!!!!!
OK...........I have a 2002 Honda Accord Ex. Had the stock 6-disc cd changer
in the dash etc and controls on steering wheel. I got a system put in (mtx
subs in back with mtx amp). Then for some reason radio reception was
staticy and not strong at all. The more bassy the song the worse it was.
Wound up getting xm radio cause i wanted some sort of utilization of my
system without just playing cd's. They wound up putting antenna booster on
and it made it worse. Wound up getting new deck, Alpine xm ready deck. Now
system is connected to RCA's on radio etc. Still have fm radio reception
prob. They threw their hands up. They said it was due to where the accord
antenna box in the back of the trunk is located etc.
ANY INSIGHT?
thanking you in advance

Something is interfeering with the antenna in the back glass. Did you have
window tint installed? If so make sure the lines are not cut
