Mine was good right off the start. one thing you might want to consider,
open up your glove box, and take it off, there should be to clips holding it
on, directly behind your glove box will be 2 air filters. These filters
filter the air coming into the cabin of the car(so the air that hits you not
the engine) make sure they are clean, or perhaps just remove them all
together(the dx model just comes with the spot to put them, but the filters
aren;t there) That might get you some more pressure.

Make sure you are not in defrost mode with the air condtioner on. On my
wife's 2002 she needs to turn off the airconditioner even in defrost mode
for the lower vents to deliver heat. It is a very strange system honda put
into the car that you have to manually turn off the air conditioner and why,
in below 20 degree weather, the air condtioner must come on is beyond me.

Sounds like an air bubble block in the heater core or leading to the
core. Could be caused by a bit of gasket material. The core should be flow
tested to see if coolant is passing properly. This only seems unusual .. .
it can happen to any make.
