2009 / 2010 CR-V head rest
Thinking of buying a CR-V but wonder if the head rest is adjustable in
the forward backward direction? I test drove a new one and felt the
head rest always banging into my head. And does anyone know where I
can download a free 2010 CR-V owner's manual. I tried to get one but
can't find any free ones on line. I was hoping to answer my own
question reading the manual. Thanks.

This is a newish Honda thing, they say because of federal regs. I call
bullshit.
My father's 09 MDX is less intrusive than the Insight, for example, but
it's still intrusive. The only way I can drive it is if I put the
seatback even further back than I would otherwise. Then the headrest
isn't in the way, at least as much.
I know that the headrest on the Insight isn't adjustable. I confirmed
that.
I'm pretty sure I won't be buying any Hondas until/unless they fix this.
It's a glaring error, IMHO, that eliminates Honda from my buying choices
regardless.
