91 Accord EX Sedan Blinking S
A little over a month ago I had the timing belt replaced. In the last week
the sport S light has started blinking on the dash and the speedometer drops
to zero. After about a minute the speedometer will resume working but the S
still blinks until I turn the car off. Just today the check engine light
came on for
the first time since the blinking started about a week ago. Is any of this
related
to having the t-belt replaced?

you've got tranny problems now or coming. That's essentially the warning
light for trannies.

Your spedo sensor is dying. I had the same thing on my 91 EXR a few months
ago. That plus a relay that was fried is what I got nicked for but the speed
sensor itself was around $140 CDN at a Honda dealer.
