If it is the setup with the slot in the bottom of the instrument cluster,
you just push the key into it and the indicator color should change back to
green. If it doesn't, the mechanism is broken.
It has no effect on vehicle operation - just ignore it.

Okay, older than I thought. You need to push it in harder. It reaches a
stop...but it needs to go further until you feel it reset. Hard to explain.
It may just have some dirt in it, but it takes a good push.

Okay, older than I thought. You need to push it in harder. It reaches a
stop...but it needs to go further until you feel it reset. Hard to explain.
