best, since it is the number one selling SUV in the world and has been for many years.. However 'best' is relative. Depends on what you needs are in a vehicle. night here in wisconsin where the weather is sometimes hell at night. I'd like to find one about a year or 2 years old. SUV for size? SUV for little extra safety being 4WD, AWD. Honda, Subaru, Toyota, Jeep has little different kind. Whatever you choose, I'd go for AWD type like Subaru. Mid size? Mazda Tribute, Toyota Highlander?
